If you’re wondering what’s happened to the Ravel footwear company and their trendy, sassy, sexy high heel shoes and boots, we sadly inform you that they merged with Clarks a couple years ago and so some of the funky designs that were so fun and affordable are no longer available.

Clarks has added some flats and boots that are in keeping with their Clarky style, but the difference between the rather plain comfortable footwear, which Clarks is known for, and the Ravel line, is still noticeable in the womens footwear collections that came out for 2010. And, thankfully, the prices are still affordable, in the £50 to £80. They’ve also added some ballerina slippers and mules that are flat or have wedge heels and are comfy, and these are priced at around £30.
So the Clarks Ravel collection now consists of trendy high heels and pumps for work and party, casual weekend wear and a few pieces of more formal, dress shoes.

One of the new collection of Ravel footwear includes an ankle boot that’s a good all year addition to any wardrobe. It’s sexy for wearing with slacks and pant suits even in spring and summer, and solid enough to keep you snug in winter.
